周六正午12时，October $100 Buy-In Monthly Tournament开战。11小时后，我的面前是所有的面值1000的橙色筹码。$1240 in winning.

现在我参加的poker比赛大多是来去自由的cash game. 毕竟tournament太过要求time commitment。不过Joe组织的每月一次的$100 buy-in的比赛我基本上都还是回去参加，很合理的blind structure和stack size，让你有机会从错误中回复过来，而且每次周六的下午坐在Bldg 117的Cafe里那种心理的舒适是难以名状的。

但情感除外，I still would like to win, : )

这个周六的比赛可能是我发挥最完整的一场比赛，也是最让我觉得不可思议的一场比赛。因为身体的状况不是最佳，记忆力多少受了点影响，很多具体的hand我都不记得了。但整场比赛一直在不停地控制自己的情绪和节奏，precise reads, good decision making, decisive action, and enough poise + some incredible luck to recover from a slew of bad beats.

Bad beat # 1:

Blinds at: 200/400, 我的chip count是25000, 同桌的一位player一直在push the action, 我决定要put a stop against him.  Hole card: A♦K♦.  对方raise to 1200, I call.  Flop comes: A♠T♥7♥.  对方bet 2000, I raise to 5000, 对方push all-in with a total of 14000 chips. I snap-call. 对方的holding是A♥Q♥.  I am ahead with a better kicker but he has the nut flush draw.  He hit his flush on the turn… 

(P.S.: technically, this is not that much of a bad beat, because I am only leading 53% vs 45% after the flop. But it just hurts really bad.)

Bad beat # 2:

Blinds at: 300/600, 我的chip count是24000. Larry raise from early position to 1700, 我的hole card: Q♥Q♦. I re-raise to 4000.  Larry考虑了很久后决定push，I insta-call.  Larry很失望地turn over 6♠6♥.  The flop comes:  6♦……  Ouch~

This qualifies as a standard bad beat because I have a 4:1 advantage preflop.

Bad beat # 3:

(Blinds at 1500/3000, cannot remember the chip count…) Ben “The Librarian” Shove pushed from early position. 我知道Ben这个人的思路很怪，range也比较大，我在big blind, hole card是AKo (don’t remember the suit), I called.  Ben has JTo.  He hit a T on the river…

最后的这个bad beat (again, techinically I am only ahead 62% vs 37%) 是我手中只留下了可怜的10000 chips，只有3个big blind之多，同桌final table的其他6个人的average chip count在56000…

But again, 不知道为什么，I still feel I can win, for some reason. 我觉得不是那么紧张，还在和Larry开玩笑说：let’s see how many bad beats I can take in one tournament.

在等了几手后，终于等到了一个我可以push的holding: KJo.  不是什么太好的starting hand，but I don’t have time to wait any more…  I am all-in with the last 10000 chips…

这时候电话响了~

是A打来的。她在电话里轻轻地问比赛怎么样了，似乎说话大声了一点都会给我带来坏运气。我们以前一直说每次只要她在比赛前祝我good luck，我总是运气很差，呵呵。

我说：I am still in, but the situation is pretty bad right now, : )

那边厢，Larry call了我的all-in, 然后turn over KQo.  Urr, 几乎是最坏的情况之一了，我希望他有AQ, AT之类的…

我对着电话那头的A说，要不我们就这么挂着，你听完我给你报这一手，这也许是最后的一手了…

Flop comes all blank.

Turn blank.

River -

somehow, somewhere, for some reason, a J hits the river.

A “J”.

我语无伦次地冲电话里大喊：Oh my god, honey, I sucked out.  This is crazy.  I sucked out on the river~

虽然我的chip stack还是很小，but I think I can win this…

Two few hands later, I am put to test again.

这一次我的holding是9♦3♦ (I am in the big blind in an unraised pot). Flop comes 2 diamonds, I have a flush draw, but that’s also all I have at that time, a flush draw…

在small blind位置的对手bet out.

正在我长考是不是要make a stand and push with the flush draw的时候，电话又响了，还是Annie打来的。刚才那通电话不知怎么断了，所以她又打了回来。

我笑了起来，然后和对手说：I am all-in.

对方call with top pair.

I hit a diamond on the turn and won with a flush (also avoided another diamond on the river because the opponent has one higher diamond than my 9♦).

我对着电话说：Thank you for calling back, honey, I doubled up again, : )

接下来的比赛虽然还很长（将近4个小时），但我想就不必一一叙述了。我发挥的不错，根据对手调整了很多战术，heads-up的时候磨光了对方的monster stack，不过那些更多是纯技术的东西了。

真正让我难忘的，是guardian angel的不可思议。

的大招：

其功能是全员对物理攻击免疫。

下午的时候在Donews上看业内的新闻，看见有这么一条：

“IT头条：谷歌波向开发者开放 大家一起找Bug。”

遂把MSN签名改为：

Yuan + Google Wave被译为：“谷歌波”，faint...

过了一会儿，A上线轻轻说了句：

“比谷歌浪好。。”

刚译完了Phil Haack最新的一篇blog，再顺便浏览了一下博客堂，眼睛的余光扫到右下角显示的是2:27，该休息了…

慢慢地溜达到厨房，觉得有点饿。灶头上有晚上刚做的萝卜鲫鱼汤，于是便盛一碗出来，热一下，喝点。唉唉，我怎么觉得做的有点咸了呢，: )

人生两大快事：

窗外朔风暴雨，自高卧读书。

半夜略饥且寒，有鱼汤果腹。

周六在LX家Party，总算找到了几个搭子一起切几局Halo。过后我向初学的老杨传授经验，比如高手用了都说好的Battle Rifle应该怎么操作，我对老杨说：

你看，这个当你对准了对手头部的时候，你的瞄准镜中间就会出现一个小红点。这个时候射击，威力就最大了。

老杨点头。

我接着说：如果每一梭子弹都击中头部的话，那4枪就可以击倒一个敌人，这个就是所谓的 Perfect-Four-Shot.

接着我便示范，四记扳机扣下，对面站着的靶人很尴尬地没有倒下。

然后我很沉着地转头对老杨说：

你看，这就是没有瞄准时候的情况………
